The International Barking Brigade is a tech-integrated network. This chapter outlines how to utilize our digital infrastructure, from the Member Registry to the Watchdog and Bloodhound automated systems.

The IBB Member Registry

Our centralized database is the primary tool for community vetting. A "Verified" status in the registry indicates that a member has undergone an initial identity check and agreed to the IBB Bylaws.

  • Digital ID: Every member is assigned a unique IBB ID. This ID is your primary credential for entering sanctioned mosh spaces and events.
  • The Vouch System: Members can "Vouch" for others they have played with safely. Watchdog uses these vouches to determine trust levels within the digital pack.

1. Watchdog: Automated Security Gatekeeper

Our custom security bot, Watchdog, manages server entry and automated vetting. Understanding its functions is key to maintaining your standing in the pack:

  • The Sentry Protocol: Upon joining the server, Watchdog will prompt you for your IBB Registry link. Access to play-oriented channels remains locked until your registry status is confirmed.
  • Threat Detection: Watchdog cross-references new joins against our global blacklist. If a blacklisted ID attempts to enter, Watchdog will immediately kick the account and alert the Administrative Board.

2. Bloodhound: Transparent Event Logging

Accountability is the backbone of our community. Bloodhound is our dedicated logging system that tracks the following:

  • Audit Trails: Every administrative action, from role changes to bans, is logged by Bloodhound to ensure transparency.
  • Incident Reports: When a safety report is filed, Bloodhound creates a searchable trail of evidence for the Board to review.
  • Trail Preservation: Logs are archived securely and cannot be edited, ensuring a permanent and honest record of community safety.
