Event Planning & "The Gatekeeper"
IBB Authorized Archive v1.0Hosting an IBB-sanctioned event requires more than just a room and some mats. It requires a rigorous focus on security, vetting, and environmental safety.
The Gatekeeper Role
Every event must have a designated Gatekeeper. This person stays "Human" for the duration of the event to manage the entrance and safety protocols.
1. Venue Vetting Checklist
- Visual Privacy: Can people see in from the street? Use blackout curtains if necessary.
- Surface Safety: Are the floors padded or carpeted? If using hard floors, mosh mats are mandatory.
- Hydration Station: Is there a dedicated area for water and snacks away from the high-energy play zone?
2. The Blacklist Check
Before allowing entry, the Gatekeeper must cross-reference the attendee's IBB ID with the Live Blacklist. There are zero exceptions to this rule; the safety of the pack depends on strict gatekeeping.
